Anti-EGFR (phospho-Y1148) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises EGFR when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1148 (phospho-Y1148) and is validated for Western Blot (WB) applications on Human material. It is supplied as an unconjugated reagent raised in a Rabbit host.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human EGFR around the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 1148. Per the manufacturer's specificity statement, the reagent detects endogenous levels of EGFR protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr1148 (removal of the signal peptide).

Formulation: 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol. The target has a molecular weight of ~ 175 kDa. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
