Anti-EGFR (phospho-Y1148) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets EGFR when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1148. It is unconjugated and validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed in Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human EGFR surrounding the Tyr1148 phosphorylation site, and specifically detects endogenous levels of EGFR only when phosphorylated at this residue. The reported molecular weight of the target is approximately 175 kDa.

The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
