Anti-EGFR (phospho Y1148) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com, raised against EGFR phosphorylated at tyrosine 1148 and supplied as an unconjugated liquid reagent. The antibody reacts with human samples and has been validated for western blot applications.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide corresponding to the region around Y1148 of human EGFR (NP_005219.2), with the sequence PDYQQ. The reported molecular weight is 180 kDa. The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and the antibody is purified by affinity chromatography.

Recommended western blot dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000. Concentration is lot specific. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon receipt, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
