Phosphorylation of the epidermal growth factor receptor at tyrosine 1092 takes place within the cytoplasmic regulatory tail and contributes to downstream signal transduction following ligand-driven receptor activation. This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent, supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µL aliquot, was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide spanning the Y1092 region and is affinity purified to enrich for phosphorylation-specific binding.

The antibody is unconjugated and validated for Western blot detection of the phosphorylated receptor in human samples, producing a band near the expected ~170 kDa molecular weight of mature EGFR. Because it is polyclonal, the reagent recognizes multiple epitopes flanking the phospho-Y1092 residue, which is useful when the immediate target site is partially occluded in denatured lysates.

Working aliquots are recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the IgG preparation. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Part of the Antibodies.com portfolio of phospho-specific primary antibodies, this reagent supports studies of EGFR pathway activation, ligand-induced receptor internalization, and downstream kinase cascades that converge on this tyrosine residue.
