Anti-EGFR (phospho S1070) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to EGFR (phospho Ser1070) from Antibodies.com, listed under their Primary Antibodies range. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot on human samples. It is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and purified by affinity chromatography. The target modification is phospho Ser1070 on EGFR, with a reported molecular weight of 175 kDa. Recommended Western blot dilution is 1:100–1:500.

The immunogen is a phospho-specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding S1070 of human EGFR. Concentration is lot specific. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. In a representative blot, A-431 cells were treated with EGF (100 ng/ml) at 37°C for 30 minutes after overnight serum-starvation; the antibody was applied at 1:500 with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane, blocked in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, and developed with an ECL Basic Kit.
