Anti-EGF Antibody [S-21] - Identical to Thermo (MA1-21364)

Mouse monoclonal antibody raised against Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), supplied by Antibodies.com as a lyophilised preparation. The clone, designated S-21, is of mouse origin, is of the IgG1 isotype, and is supplied unconjugated.

Validated for use in ELISA, the reagent reacts with human samples and recognises both natural and recombinant human EGF. The antibody was generated using purified recombinant human EGF as the immunogen and is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. It is formulated as a lyophilised product from a 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.2, and is intended to be reconstituted with double distilled water. The antibody does not cross-react with IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or SAA.

For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
