Anti-EGF Antibody [S-177] - Identical to Thermo (MA1-21367)

A Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone S-177) directed against Epidermal Growth Factor, available through Antibodies.com. The reagent is unconjugated, of isotype IgG1, and validated for ELISA with Human samples.

The immunogen was purified recombinant human EGF, and the antibody recognises both natural and recombinant human EGF. Cross-reactivity studies show no recognition of IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or SAA. The product is supplied lyophilised in 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.2, purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon arrival, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Reconstitution is performed with double distilled water, and the working concentration is reconstitution dependent.
