Anti-EGF Antibody [S-147]

A mouse monoclonal antibody offered by Antibodies.com is raised against Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) using the S-147 clone, with the antibody produced in the Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line. It is of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, and supplied as a lyophilised preparation formulated from 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.2, with concentration described as reconstitution dependent.

The reagent is validated for ELISA applications and reacts with human samples. The immunogen is purified recombinant human EGF, and the antibody recognises both natural and recombinant human EGF. According to the manufacturer's cross-reactivity profile, the antibody does not recognise IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or SAA. Purification is carried out by Protein G affinity chromatography.

For handling, the product is sent at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitution is performed with double distilled water.
