Anti-EGF Antibody [S-147]

This mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against human Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) and is supplied as a 100 µg lyophilised powder for use as a primary reagent in EGF-targeted immunoassays. The S-147 clone recognises the mature 53-amino-acid EGF polypeptide, the endogenous ligand for the EGFR receptor tyrosine kinase.

Recommended for ELISA workflows, the unconjugated antibody binds native human EGF and is suitable for quantitative measurement of EGF in conditioned media, cell culture supernatants, and tissue lysates from in vitro studies of epithelial proliferation, wound-healing models, and receptor signalling research.

For reconstitution, dissolve the lyophilised contents in sterile buffer; once reconstituted, aliquot and store frozen, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light. Each vial contains 100 µg of antibody with mouse host, IgG1 isotype, and confirmed reactivity with human EGF.
