Anti-EGF Antibody [S-146]

Antibodies.com offers a mouse monoclonal antibody (clone S-146) raised against Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF). The reagent is of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, and supplied in lyophilised form. It is validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), and immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) applications and reacts with human samples.

The antibody was generated using purified recombinant human EGF as the immunogen and recognises both natural and recombinant human EGF. Cross-reactivity testing shows it does not recognise IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or SAA. The product is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and formulated as a lyophilised preparation from 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline at pH 7.0.

For use, the antibody should be reconstituted with double distilled water. It is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
