Anti-EGF Antibody [S-145]

Offered by Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal antibody (clone S-145) is raised against human Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF). It is supplied in lyophilised form, unconjugated, of the IgG1 isotype, and is validated for ELISA applications, with reactivity confirmed against human samples.

The reagent was generated using purified recombinant human EGF as the immunogen and recognises both natural and recombinant human EGF. It is produced from the Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line and purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. The product is formulated as lyophilised material in 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.2, with reconstitution performed using double distilled water; the working concentration is reconstitution-dependent. Shipment is at 4°C; upon arrival the product should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.

Cross-reactivity testing indicates that this antibody does not recognise IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or SAA.
