Anti-EGF Antibody [S-145]

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody specifically recognizes human Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) and is defined by the S-145 clone. The unconjugated reagent is provided as a 100 µg lyophilised preparation intended for ELISA work and is reactive with human samples.

Epidermal Growth Factor is a 53-amino-acid polypeptide ligand for the ErbB/EGFR receptor tyrosine kinase family, with established roles in epithelial cell proliferation, mucosal repair, and oncogenic signalling. Antibodies directed against this target support studies of autocrine and paracrine growth loops, mucosal healing biology, and EGFR-driven cancers such as glioblastoma and colorectal carcinoma.

The IgG1 isotype and mouse origin help maintain lot-to-lot consistency in assay development.
