Anti-EGF Antibody [S-120]

A mouse monoclonal antibody (clone S-120) raised against Epidermal Growth Factor, offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody validated for ELISA applications. The antibody is of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, and reacts with human samples. It is supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2 and is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.

Specificity has been demonstrated against natural and recombinant human EGF using purified recombinant human EGF as the immunogen, and the antibody does not cross-react with IL-1ß, IL-8, MCAF, TGF-ß or SAA. Concentration is reconstitution dependent, and the product is reconstituted with double distilled water. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
