Anti-EGF Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), a 6 kDa mitogenic peptide that drives proliferation, differentiation, and migration through binding to the EGFR receptor. Valid for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows, it recognises the native human EGF protein as well as the mouse and rat orthologues, making it a useful reagent for cross-species studies of growth factor signalling, wound healing research, and epithelial cell biology.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the reagent can be paired with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondaries depending on the detection platform. EGF is expressed across multiple tissues and biofluids, and the antibody is intended for research use only.
