A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets eukaryotic elongation factor 2 kinase (eEF2K) when phosphorylated at Serine 366. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human eEF2K around the phosphorylation site of Serine 366, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of eEF2K only when phosphorylated at Ser366. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approx. pH 7.2. The expected molecular weight of the target is ~105 kDa.

The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
