Anti-EEF2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research use, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets eukaryotic elongation factor 2 (EEF2), a highly conserved translation elongation factor also referred to as EF-2 or EF2. It is raised against a recombinant human EEF2 immunogen and affinity-purified, with the immunoglobulin fraction supplied unconjugated at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a PBS buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The antibody specifically recognizes the endogenous level of total EEF2 protein and is validated for western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) in human, mouse, and rat samples. The 50 µL size is shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
