From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets EEF2/Elongation factor 2 and is validated for Western Blot (WB) applications in human samples. The reagent is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype.

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-290 of human eEF2 (NP_001952.1) and is affinity purified. It is supplied as a liquid preparation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 107 kDa. Concentration is lot specific.

Recommended handling is shipment at 4°C, followed by aliquoting and storage at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. For Western Blot, a dilution range of 1:500 to 1:2,000 is suggested.
