The polyclonal antiserum from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against human EEF1E1 (eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 epsilon 1), the small auxiliary subunit of the multi-tRNA synthetase complex also known as AIMP3 or p18. EEF1E1 scaffolds aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases and channels charged tRNAs to the ribosome during translation, but it is equally studied for its nuclear role in the ATM/ATR DNA damage response, where it contributes to checkpoint activation and tumor suppression following genotoxic stress.

Shipped as 100 µl of unconjugated whole antiserum, the reagent is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous EEF1E1 in human cell and tissue lysates and for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, making it suitable for studies of translation elongation, multi-tRNA synthetase complex assembly, and stress kinase signaling. Store at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw damage to the polyclonal antibodies, and pair with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated anti-rabbit secondary reagents for chemiluminescent or immunofluorescence readouts in basic research use only applications.
