Anti-EED Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against EED (Embryonic Ectoderm Development), a core component of the Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2). The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the human EED sequence, and the antibody has been validated to recognise the endogenous level of total EED protein in human, mouse and rat samples. It is supplied in a 50 µl volume at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, unconjugated and formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabiliser. Recommended applications from the manufacturer are Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC). For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and, on receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, making it well suited to chromatin, epigenetics and developmental biology studies that interrogate PRC2-mediated histone methylation across multiple model organisms.
