ECM1 (Extracellular Matrix Protein 1) is a secreted glycoprotein found in skin, bone, cartilage, and many epithelial tissues, where it influences mineralization, keratinocyte differentiation, and cell migration. Loss-of-function mutations in the ECM1 gene underlie lipoid proteinosis, a rare dermatological disorder characterized by skin thickening and hoarseness, while altered ECM1 expression has been documented in several solid tumor types where it contributes to angiogenesis and metastatic behavior. This rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent targets the ECM1 protein and supports research into connective tissue biology, dermatology, and tumor microenvironments.
