Anti-EB3 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the EB3 protein, a microtubule plus-end tracking protein (+TIP) belonging to the end-binding (EB) family. EB3, also called MAPRE3, accumulates at growing microtubule plus-ends where it regulates microtubule dynamics during mitosis, cell migration, and neuronal development.

Supplied as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, this unconjugated rabbit host reagent is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous EB3 in human, mouse, and rat samples. The expected molecular weight of EB3 is approximately 32 kDa, readily resolvable on standard SDS-PAGE gels and detectable in whole-cell lysates from proliferating and differentiated cell types.

Store aliquots at -20 °C to preserve activity and minimize freeze-thaw cycles; the glycerol cryoprotectant guards against freeze damage during long-term storage. Sodium azide permits short-term use at 4 °C for active working stocks. Centrifuge the vial briefly before opening to recover the full volume and avoid repeated temperature shifts that compromise polyclonal antibody titer.
