Anti-E2F6 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified Rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the E2F6 transcription factor and is intended for the detection of endogenous levels of total E2F6 protein in human and mouse samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from human E2F6, and the antibody is provided as an unconjugated rabbit IgG in a liquid formulation of phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, at a protein concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The 50 µL size is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, making it suitable for routine characterisation of E2F6 expression across a range of cell and tissue-derived lysates. As a polyclonal reagent generated in rabbit, the antibody recognises multiple epitopes of the target, which can be advantageous when probing for isoforms or post-translationally modified forms of E2F6 (also known by the synonym E2F-6 or Transcription factor E2F6). The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided in order to preserve binding activity and reagent stability.
