Anti-E2F6 Antibody

The Antibodies.com anti-E2F6 polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated, liquid formulation at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol acting as a cryoprotectant. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) workflows against human, mouse, and rat samples.

E2F6 is the sixth member of the E2F transcription factor family and functions primarily as a transcriptional repressor of E2F-dependent genes, recruiting polycomb group complexes to target promoters during S phase. It plays a distinctive role in cell cycle progression, centromere function, embryonic stem cell maintenance, DNA repair, and has been the subject of active tumorigenesis research.
