Anti-E2F-4 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the E2F-4 transcription factor and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot of an unconjugated, affinity-purified antiserum at 1 mg/mL. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of E2F-4 protein and is validated for use in Western blot (WB) and ELISA workflows, making it a flexible choice for studies in human, mouse and rat samples. It was produced by immunising rabbits with a synthetic peptide derived from the human E2F-4 sequence flanking the non-acetylation site at K96, then isolated by affinity chromatography against the epitope-specific immunogen, yielding a polyclonal IgG preparation in a liquid PBS buffer containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a stabiliser and preservative. For routine handling, the antibody is shipped cold at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity. Altogether, this format — polyclonal host reactivity, unconjugated chemistry and broad species coverage — makes the reagent well suited as a primary detection antibody in standard E2F-4 immunoblotting and immunoassay experiments.
