Anti-E-cadherin (G2) Antibody

Antibodies.com offers this rabbit polyclonal antibody specific for E-cadherin, raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of human E-cadherin. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen to a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.

The antibody detects endogenous levels of E-cadherin protein and is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence/ICC (IF/ICC) applications on human, mouse and rat samples. It recognises E-cadherin at molecular weights of approximately 98 and 130 kDa.
