Anti-E-Cadherin Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this research-grade primary antibody is a mouse monoclonal directed against E-Cadherin (CDH1), a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule critical for the maintenance of epithelial tissue architecture. The reagent is supplied as 50 µl of purified IgG1 at 1 mg/ml in a working buffer composed of 1× TBS (pH 7.4) supplemented with 1% BSA and 40% glycerol, with 0.05% sodium azide added as preservative, and is provided unconjugated. The antibody is validated for use in Western blotting (WB), immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and flow cytometry (FC), and has been shown to react with both human and mouse samples. For short-term use, vials should be stored at +4 °C; for longer-term storage, aliquot and keep at –20 °C to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The Mouse IgG1 κ isotype and unconjugated format make this reagent well suited as a primary detection reagent in standard immunoassays, with secondary antibodies available separately depending on the chosen detection method.
