This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Dyskerin, a pseudouridine synthase encoded by the DKC1 gene. Dyskerin serves as the catalytic core of the box H/ACA small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein complex, where it directs isomerization of uridine to pseudouridine in rRNA and snRNA transcripts and supports telomerase holoenzyme stability. Loss-of-function variants in DKC1 are associated with X-linked dyskeratosis congenita and with patterns of premature telomere shortening, making dependable immunodetection of the protein valuable for telomere biology, ribosome biogenesis, and rare-disease research.

Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows, the antibody shows reactivity against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, accommodating comparative work across cultured mammalian cells and rodent disease models. Supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated polyclonal antiserum raised in Rabbit, the reagent can be paired with secondary reporters of choice for fluorescence or chemiluminescent detection and is well matched to subcellular localization studies where Dyskerin's nucleolar and Cajal body distribution can be examined in fixed cells.
