Anti-Dynactin 2 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Dynactin 2 (DCTN2, also called p50 dynamitin), a core subunit of the dynactin complex that links cytoplasmic dynein to vesicular and chromosomal cargo along microtubules. The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit and applied for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cytoskeletal and intracellular transport studies.

Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of antibody at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, at roughly pH 7.2. Researchers use it to probe Dynactin 2 expression and localisation in cell lysates and tissue sections, including investigations of dynein/dynactin function in mitosis, organelle trafficking, and models of neurodegenerative disease.
