Anti-dynactin 1 Antibody

DCTN1 forms the shoulder and sidearm of the multiprotein dynactin assembly and binds directly to cytoplasmic dynein, supporting processive microtubule-based motility that is essential for retrograde axonal transport, mitotic spindle organization, and intracellular vesicle trafficking. The unconjugated preparation is supplied as 100 µl of antiserum and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human samples, where it labels the ~150 kDa polypeptide as well as higher-molecular-weight assembly intermediates observed on reduced blots.
