Anti-DUT Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a research-grade primary reagent, this affinity-purified polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit against deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase (DUT) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at 1.0 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), the reagent has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography and reaches a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target is detected as endogenous DUT protein with a characteristic molecular weight of approximately 18 and 26 kDa, and the immunogen corresponds to recombinant full-length human DUT, supporting broad cross-reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples. As an unconjugated IgG-format reagent intended for research use only, it is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Suitable for routine immunoblotting of dUTPase expression, tissue-section localization in IHC, and co-localization studies in ICC/IF, the antibody offers a reliable option for laboratories investigating nucleotide metabolism, DNA-repair pathways, and the mitochondrial versus nuclear isoforms of DUT.
