Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against an internal peptide region of human DUSP16 (also known as Dual specificity protein phosphatase 16, MKP-7, or MAP kinase phosphatase 7). The unconjugated antibody is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in PBS (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabiliser; the purified IgG fraction is intended for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic work. It is recommended for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry / immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows and has been validated for detection of endogenous total DUSP16 protein in human and mouse samples. The immunogen was a synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of human DUSP16, and the resulting antiserum was affinity-purified by epitope-specific affinity chromatography (purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE). Storage is straightforward: the vial ships at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C on arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. This format is well suited for laboratories studying MAPK phosphatase signalling, stress-activated kinase pathways, or JNK/p38 dephosphorylation cascades where careful resolution of DUSP16 expression across cell lines and primary cultures is required.
