The polyclonal antibody targets DUS2L (tRNA-dihydrouridine synthase 2-like), a cytoplasmic enzyme that catalyzes the reduction of uridine to dihydrouridine in transfer RNAs. This post-transcriptional modification is essential for proper tRNA folding, structural stability, and translational fidelity in eukaryotic cells.

Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, the reagent is delivered as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated antibody suitable for multiple Western blot experiments.

Validated for WB applications, the antibody cross-reacts with the human, rat, and mouse DUS2L orthologs, supporting comparative expression studies across mammalian model systems. Researchers investigating tRNA modification pathways, translation regulation, or cellular stress responses can use this reagent to probe DUS2L protein levels in cell lysates and tissue homogenates. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or fluorescence-based detection. Aliquoting on first use helps preserve reagent activity across downstream experiments.
