Anti-DSG2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes Desmoglein-2 (DSG2), a calcium-binding transmembrane cadherin that forms the adhesive core of desmosomes in epithelial sheets and in the intercalated discs of cardiac muscle. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 200 µl of liquid in a vial and is validated for Western Blot detection of endogenous DSG2 in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of cell-cell adhesion, epithelial barrier function, and cardiovascular biology, where DSG2 is investigated for its link to arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy and for changes in expression associated with tumor cell migration.
