Mouse monoclonal IgG reagent against dihydropyrimidinase-like 5 (DPYSL5), supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl unconjugated liquid vial and assigned clone number A2878. The target is a ~64 kDa collapsin response mediator family member (CRMP5), reported to inhibit tubulin polymerization in developing neurons and to interact with the actin cytoskeleton in growth cones, making it a useful marker for studies of neurite outgrowth, axon guidance, and cytoskeletal remodelling in central and peripheral nervous system tissue.

The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows, and has been confirmed to react with human, mouse, and rat DPYSL5, supporting comparative analyses across cell lines and primary neural tissue from these species. Researchers have applied CRMP5/DPYSL5 antibodies to investigate paraneoplastic neurological syndromes, since CRMP5-IgG is a well-characterised autoantigen associated with small cell lung carcinoma and thymoma, and to map CRMP5 expression in brain regions such as cortex, hippocampus, and cerebellum.

Supplied in an unconjugated IgG format, the reagent pairs flexibly with labelled secondary antibodies for either standard immunoblotting of DPYSL5 in cell lysates or confocal imaging of fixed cells and tissue sections, allowing signal amplification strategies to be tailored to the experimental system.
