This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets DPP7 (Dipeptidyl Peptidase 7), a cytosolic proline-specific metalloprotease that participates in antigen processing, apoptosis regulation, and quiescent cell signaling pathways in human cells. Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated serum, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human samples.

DPP7, also known as DPPII or quiescent cell proline dipeptidase, is predominantly expressed in quiescent lymphocytes and has been studied in the context of B-cell maturation, intracellular protein turnover, and tumor biology research. Its prolyl-cleaving activity distinguishes it from the better-characterized DPP4 enzyme family, and immunodetection of endogenous DPP7 by Western blot typically reveals a band near the predicted molecular weight, while immunofluorescence staining can localize the protein to the cytoplasm of expressing cell lines.

The antibody is provided as a liquid aliquot of 100 µl, unconjugated for flexibility with secondary reporter chemistries, and is intended for research use only in non-clinical laboratory applications such as cell signaling studies, immunology research, and cancer biology investigations.
