Anti-DPEP2 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets human DPEP2 (dipeptidase 2), a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored metalloenzyme of the membrane-bound dipeptidase family. Raised in rabbit as an IgG preparation, the reagent is supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl vial and validated for Western blot detection of the human protein. DPEP2 hydrolyzes dipeptide substrates and plays a documented role in the leukotriene pathway through conversion of LTD4 to LTE4 within the eicosanoid cascade, making the reagent relevant to inflammation and lipid-mediator research. It is also used to map expression of GPI-anchored hydrolases across tissues such as kidney, lung, and immune cell populations. For storage, keep the vial frozen at -20 degrees C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light until use. The polyclonal format provides multi-epitope recognition of DPEP2, which can strengthen signals when probing endogenous levels in human cell lysates or tissue extracts prepared for western blot analysis.
