Raised in rabbit against a synthetic phosphopeptide spanning the human p62Dok Tyr362 site (P-I-Y(p)-D-E), this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com selectively detects endogenous DOK1 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 362. The site lies within the N-terminal region that recruits SH2-domain effectors, so the antibody reports pathway activation rather than total DOK1 abundance.

The antibody is provided as a 50 µl aliquot of unconjugated rabbit IgG, validated for Western blot at 1:500–1:1000 and immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections at 1:50–1:100. By Western blot it recognizes the canonical 62 kDa DOK1 band in Jurkat lysates, along with a frequently observed ~80 kDa species, and signal is abolished by alkaline phosphatase treatment or blocking-peptide pre-adsorption, consistent with strict phospho-specificity. IHC validation is performed on paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue alongside peptide-blocked controls. Reactivity is confirmed for human, mouse, and rat DOK1, since the Tyr362 epitope is conserved across species, with mouse and rat DOK1 carrying the equivalent Tyr-361 residue.

Because phospho-epitopes are labile, the antibody should be stored at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Full validation images and supporting references are listed on the Antibodies.com product page.
