Anti-DOCK1 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting DOCK1. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied as a liquid and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. One manufacturer datasheet additionally lists ELISA among the validated applications and reports reactivity with both Human and Mouse samples, while another datasheet lists reactivity with Human samples only. That second datasheet also states no reported cross-reactivity.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide. According to one datasheet the peptide corresponds to a sequence within amino acids 1800-1867 of human DOCK1 (NP_001371.1); the other datasheet describes the peptide as derived from human DOCK1 amino acids 1661-1710. The target has a molecular weight of 215 kDa. Formulations differ slightly between sources: one lists Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% Glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal; the other lists Phosphate Buffered Saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, with 150mM NaCl, 0.02% Sodium Azide, and 50% Glycerol. The antibody is purified by affinity methods.

Recommended working dilutions also differ between datasheets: WB at 1:500-1:2,000 in one source, and WB at 1:500-1:1000 with ELISA at 1:40000 in the other. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
