Anti-Dnmt3b Antibody

The Antibodies.com Anti-Dnmt3b polyclonal antibody targets DNA methyltransferase 3B, the de novo CpG methyltransferase implicated in mammalian embryogenesis, genomic imprinting, and ICF syndrome. Affinity-purified from a rabbit host and supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation in a 100 µg liquid aliquot, this reagent specifically detects the mouse Dnmt3b isoform with mouse-specific reactivity and is validated across multiple workflows, including chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), western blot analysis of cell lysates, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence staining of fixed cells, and immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (IHC-Fr).

These applications support studies of methylation patterning in pluripotent stem cells, neural progenitors, and embryonic tissues, as well as investigation of Dnmt3b-dependent gene silencing in murine disease models. The unconjugated format permits flexible pairing with HRP- or fluorophore-labelled secondary antibodies to match the detection platform in use.
