Anti-DNM1L Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against recombinant human DNM1L (dynamin-1-like protein, also widely known as DRP1) and is affinity-purified using the immunogen to enrich specific antibodies. The unconjugated antiserum is supplied at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL vial, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as preservative and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant. The antibody specifically recognises the endogenous pool of total DNM1L and is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it a versatile primary antibody for studies of mitochondrial fission machinery across the most common laboratory models. Polyclonal antibodies such as this one recognise multiple epitopes on the target and are therefore well suited to tracking total protein levels and to qualitative localisation work. For best results, brief aliquoting and storage at -20 °C are recommended to preserve activity across multiple freeze/thaw cycles, and the glycerol-containing buffer protects the reagent during routine cold-chain handling.
