DNM1L (Dynamin-1-like protein), also known as Drp1, is a cytosolic GTPase that drives mitochondrial outer membrane fission and is a central regulator of mitochondrial dynamics in mammalian cells. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against DNM1L and recognizes the endogenous protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, the reagent is supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal preparation at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged in a 100 µl vial. Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be paired with user-selected reporter-coupled secondary antibodies for fluorescence or chromogenic detection. Drp1 migrates as an ~80 kDa band in denaturing gels, making the reagent a practical choice for studies of mitochondrial morphology, apoptosis, mitophagy, and OXPHOS-related signaling.

For research use only; storage at -20°C in small aliquots helps preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
