DNAJC3 is a J-domain co-chaperone of the Hsp40 family that resides in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen, where it partners with BiP/GRP78 to support nascent protein folding and acts as a key modulator of the unfolded protein response (UPR). This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the DNAJC3 target and is validated for western blot detection of endogenous protein in human, mouse, and rat samples.

Supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody is provided in a vial format ready to dilute into standard blocking buffers for immunoblotting workflows. For short-term use, store refrigerated at 4 °C and protect from light; for longer periods, freeze at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve titre over the shelf life of the reagent.

Beyond its canonical ER chaperoning role, DNAJC3 also negatively regulates the interferon-induced kinase PKR and contributes to translational control during viral infection and metabolic stress, making the antibody a useful marker for studies of ER homeostasis, viral host defence, and glucose metabolism research across the listed reactive species.
