Raised in rabbit against the human DNAJA3 co-chaperone, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets a J-domain protein of the HSP40 family that localizes primarily to mitochondria. DNAJA3, also referenced in the literature as Tid-1 and hTid-1, partners with HSP70 to drive ATP-dependent protein folding, supports import of client proteins into the mitochondrial matrix, and modulates apoptotic signaling through interaction with regulators such as p53 and components of the IKK complex, making it a useful marker for work on mitochondrial proteostasis, tumor biology, and innate immunity.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Validated applications include Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence, and the reagent reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting work across established cell lines, primary cultures, and rodent tissue sections. For routine use, aliquot upon arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles and store at -20 °C; brief handling at room temperature is acceptable during active workflows. Sodium azide is included as a preservative and should be taken into account when planning downstream assays that are azide-sensitive, such as live-cell labeling.
