DNAJA1 is a mitochondrial Hsp40-family J-domain co-chaperone that partners with Hsp70 to drive protein folding, refolding, and translocation across the inner mitochondrial membrane. It is best known for stabilizing PINK1 on the outer mitochondrial membrane, a critical step that recruits Parkin and initiates mitophagy following loss of mitochondrial membrane potential. The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit (IgG, unconjugated) and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry on human samples. Laboratories working on mitochondrial protein quality control, PINK1/Parkin signalling, and neurodegenerative disease models including Parkinson's use this reagent to probe endogenous DNAJA1 levels in cell lysates and tissue sections. Each vial contains 100 µL of antibody, sufficient for multiple blotting experiments. Storage at 4 °C is recommended for short-term use; aliquot and freeze for long-term storage to preserve activity and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For research use only.
