Anti-DNAJA1 Antibody

This unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets DNAJA1, a member of the Hsp40 (J-protein) family of molecular co-chaperones that stimulate the ATPase activity of Hsp70 chaperones and direct substrate specificity during protein folding, refolding, and degradation. DNAJA1 is expressed broadly in human tissues and is involved in mitochondrial protein import, translational regulation, and the cellular response to thermal and oxidative stress, making it a target of interest in studies of proteostasis, neurodegeneration, and cancer cell biology.

The reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied as a 100 µl vial of liquid antiserum. It is validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples, where it recognizes the endogenous ~45 kDa DNAJA1 protein. Suggested starting dilutions should be optimized for each application and detection system; refer to the product datasheet for recommended buffers, blocking agents, and antigen retrieval conditions.
