Anti-DNA-PK (Y2052) Antibody

The antibody recognises DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK), a nuclear serine/threonine kinase that drives non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) repair of DNA double-strand breaks. The epitope corresponds to phosphotyrosine 2052, an autophosphorylation site on the catalytic subunit DNA-PKcs that marks catalytically engaged repair complexes.

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2. The 50 µl pack supports multiple western blot and immunohistochemistry (IHC) experiments.

Reactivity has been validated on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting research into V(D)J recombination, telomere maintenance, genomic stability, and cellular radiosensitivity. Use western blot to resolve the ~460 kDa DNA-PKcs band and IHC to localise DNA-PK foci in damaged tissue sections.
