Anti-DNA Ligase IV Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets DNA Ligase IV (LIG4), a key enzyme in the non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) pathway of DNA double-strand break repair. The reagent is provided as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen (a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human DNA Ligase IV). It is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of the DNA Ligase IV protein in human samples. Validated applications include ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), making it a versatile tool for cell biology, cancer research and DNA damage response studies. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. For research use only.
