Anti-DLD Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD), the flavoenzyme E3 subunit shared by the mitochondrial pyruvate dehydrogenase, alpha-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase, branched-chain ketoacid dehydrogenase, and glycine cleavage complexes. Provided by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, this unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum raised in rabbit.

Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat samples, the antibody supports studies of mitochondrial energy metabolism, redox homeostasis, and disorders linked to the E3 subunit. DLD deficiency is an autosomal recessive condition associated with lactic acidosis, branched-chain ketoaciduria, and Leigh-like encephalopathy. DLD is also a target of anti-mitochondrial autoantibodies described in primary biliary cholangitis, broadening the reagent's utility for immunopathology research.
