Anti-DLAT Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody offered by Antibodies.com targets the DLAT protein (dihydrolipoamide S-acetyltransferase), a key component of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. It was raised against a recombinant human DLAT immunogen and affinity-purified using that immunogen, yielding a reagent supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The antibody is unconjugated and presented in a 50 µL volume. It is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and is reactive against samples from human, mouse and rat, making it suitable for cross-species studies of mitochondrial metabolism. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, so the reagent contains a heterogeneous population of immunoglobulin molecules directed against multiple epitopes on DLAT, which helps improve signal robustness in Western blot applications.
