Anti-DLAT Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary monoclonal antibody targets human DLAT (known also as DLTA, E2 and PDC-E2), the dihydrolipoamide S-acetyltransferase component of the mitochondrial pyruvate dehydrogenase complex. The reagent is supplied as a purified mouse IgG monoclonal, unconjugated, and is presented in a 50 µL vial of buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. It is validated for Western blot, Immunocytochemistry (ICC) and Immunoprecipitation (IP), and has been tested on samples of human and mouse origin, making it suitable for cross-species studies of mitochondrial metabolism and pyruvate dehydrogenase function. Routine handling recommends shipping at 4 °C with aliquoted storage at –20 °C and avoidance of repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity. Intended for research use only, the clone provides a reliable tool for investigating endogenous DLAT expression at the predicted ~69 kDa band in cell lysates such as Jurkat, A549, U251, F9, LNCAP and HeLa.
